Join the Committe of the Watersprite Film Festival

DON’T DELAY, apply today to join the student committee running the largest international student film festival in the UK!

Chaired by Hilary Bevan Jones (the first female chair of BAFTA) and run by a committee of students from ARU and Cambridge, Watersprite is back for its 14th year! The festival takes place 3 – 5 March and will be comprised of events with industry leaders, networking opportunities, screenings of the nominated films and a brilliant awards ceremony. And it’s all for free!

Interested in leading your own department? We have positions open for Head of Partnerships, Head of Creative Design, Head of Education and Outreach and Head of Alumni Relations. These are all terrific ways of learning about the film industry and you’ll gain amazing experience leading your own team of fellow students!

Would you rather have a smaller role, assisting in the judging and selection of the winning films? Apply for a position in the awards committee!

If you just love watching films, join the preselection committee and get the chance to watch dozens of entries from all over the world!

This year, we’re particularly keen to get graduate students involved so apply now! All of these positions can be applied for on our website: https://www.watersprite.org.uk/apply. Applications are rolling, so the sooner you apply the better! There’s also a deadline of August 15 for Head of Department roles.

More positions will become available soon (including committee positions for each department and judging roles) so check out our website and sign up to our mailing list to get informed when applications for these open!
