I am logging in with my CRSid and University password, but I am getting "Please enter a correct email and password. Note that both fields may be case-sensitive."
If you want to log in with your CRSid and university password, you need to use one of the two "log in with Raven" buttons. The username and password fields on our site are for people who do not have Raven.
Why are there two "log in with Raven" buttons?
The university offers multiple ways to authenticate with Raven, and because some of them are preferable for some users, we offer not just one of them. If you are already logged into your Cambridge G-Suite account (this is the Google account that is linked to your @cam.ac.uk email address), then using the Google OAuth authentication method is by far the fastest and easiest. If you are not logged into your Google account however, using the SAML method usually requires fewer clicks (internally, it only requires you to log in with Microsoft, whereas the Google login process additionally does a Google login).
I am a new fresher, what do I do?
Make sure that you have set up your university account, at the end of which you should have been given your CRSid and set a password. Then click on one of the two "log in with Raven" buttons and log in with your CRSid and password.
I am getting an error: "You are not registered on this system".
Due to the way that communication and data-sharing between the MCR and college works it will happen occasionally that people are not registered on this system even though they should be. Even if you are unsure whether you should be able to log in, please don't hesitate to write a quick email to mcr-computing@clare.cam.ac.uk.
I am an associate member without Raven credentials.
Click on the "(Re)set password" button and enter the email address you have given us during your associate membership application. You will receive an email with a link to set your password, which you can then use to log in.
