[RESEARCH VOLUNTEER] CSLB language experiments
The Centre for Speech, Language and the Brain (CSLB) are conducting simple experiments related to language, and would like to invite you to take part!
In order to be eligible you must be:
- 18-40 years old
- A native British-English speaker
- Not dyslexic
With this new experiment we will investigate the way people understand sentences. You will be asked to listen to the beginnings of sentences and then to type a continuation to the sentence. You will also be asked to rate how natural some sentences sound. The experiment will take place at our offices on the 2nd floor of the William Hardy Building, on the Downing Site in central Cambridge.
The experiment will last up to two hours, and you would receive £6 per hour, plus a contribution towards your travel costs.
We have sessions available between 10am and 8pm, from Friday 26th June until Friday 3rd July (including the weekend):
If you would like to take part, please get in touch by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
